Cameron arrived in Poland on Saturday night to deliver necessities to those fleeing the war in Ukraine, according to the Polska Times daily.

He drove to Poland in a "little lorry," together with two activists from the Chippy Larder, a non-profit organisation that aims to distribute surplus food to those in need, Polska Times reported.

"Delivery successfully made," Cameron wrote in a Twitter post after a 20-hour journey to Poland.

The ex-Tory leader brought "everything from nappies to sanitary products, warm clothes to first-aid kits," according to the BBC.

Cameron served as the UK's prime minister from 2010 to 2016 and helped set the country on the path for Brexit after he organised a nationwide referendum on Britain's membership of the European Union.

Ever since he stepped down from office, he has been involved in business and non-profit projects, Polska Times reported.
